About Rebuilt BMW Engines

We sell rebuilt BMW engines from Hamburg. Clear photos, free VIN checks, and packing made for workshops across Europe.

The workshop

Rebuilt BMW engines prepared before they are listed

Rebuilt BMW Engines is based in Hamburg. We find a sound BMW engine, check it, photograph it, and pack it so a workshop can fit it.

Buyers come when a car has failed, when a project needs a known code, or when a garage wants a rebuilt unit they can see before they pay.

Petrol and diesel are both in stock — from everyday 320d and 330d replacements to M engines and larger diesel sixes.

How the shop is organised

Four parts of the same workshop

Replacement engines

Complete rebuilt units for cars that need to go back on the road. Code, year, and gearbox are confirmed against the VIN before dispatch.

Performance engines

S and M engines, and premium lines above €3,000, are held for builds where the engine itself is the point of the project.

Named by the car

Listings use the chassis, the badge, and the engine code, so a workshop can search 330d or M57 and land on the same family.

Turbo and manifold detail

Gearboxes and drivetrain

Transmissions, transfer cases, differentials, shafts, and turbos sit beside the rebuilt engines, because a swap rarely stops at the block.

Inspection

What happens on the bench

A unit is not listed because it looks tidy. Compression is compared cylinder to cylinder. Leak-down is noted where the test was run. Oil pressure is checked.

Ancillaries stay as they are on that rebuilt engine. If a bracket, sensor, or turbo is missing, it is missing in the photographs.

The result is written against the order. If a question comes back after delivery, it is answered from that record.

Who we supply

Garages, specialists, and owners

Independent workshops

A garage needs the right code, a clear price, and a crate a forklift can take off the truck. We answer fitment questions before the rebuilt engine is paid for.

Engine specialists

Builders looking for an S54, S58, N63, or twin-turbo diesel can browse by code and by car. Premium stock is inspected the same way.

Private buyers

If the car is yours, send the VIN. We match the plate to the chassis, year, and gearbox, and we say so if the unit is wrong.

Dispatch

From Hamburg, crated for a bay

Rebuilt BMW engines leave on a pallet built for a forklift or engine crane, not for a domestic doorstep.

Worldwide door-to-door shipping is 299,00 €. Warranty of up to 12 months starts from delivery on eligible units after a correct install.

The order does not end at the depot

  1. The certificate

Eligible rebuilt engines leave with an inspection certificate. The copy that travels with the crate carries the order, the code, and the date.

  2. The guide

Each listed engine has a written guide: fitment, what was checked, and what the installer should confirm on the first start.

  3. A claim, if one is needed

Report a fault as soon as it shows. Do not dismantle the engine without written approval. Labour and towing sit outside the warranty.
