What this guide covers

Defender stock covers 200Tdi/300Tdi, Td5, Puma 2.4/2.2, new Defender Ingenium units, and selected swap donors such as M57.
Workshop Defender M57 kits remain on the dedicated Defender pages; Uncategorized holds the wider off-road engine rail.
Fitment

90, 110, and 130 need the right mounts and gearbox. A Td5 is not a Puma drop-in.
New Defender L663 codes (D200/D250/D300, P300/P400) must match the build.
What the workshop checks
Off-road donors often show more cosmetic wear — judge the mechanical photos and the grade on the listing.
For swap engines, confirm adapter and loom needs separately.
How to choose a listing
Use Defender & Off-road under Uncategorized, or the Defender M57 pages for conversion kits.
